Hello world!

What better way is there to start a blog than an introduction? I want to start this post by talking about my 3 kids but I think that I should probably start with something else since I spend most of my life already talking about them. So let’s start with the hard stuff…How to pronounce my name. Tay-ON-na. You can call me Tay if you want, most of my close friends do!

I spend most of my days chugging a mix of coffee and red bull, chasing 3 little girls around my house, and trying to come up with Instagram worthy captions.  This year my husband and I will have been together for 10 years but we also grew up together and went to the same tiny little school together since 1st grade so I have known him pretty much my whole life. Together we have 3 girls ( I know!) who all have birthdays very soon and will be 5, 3, and 1 (again, I know.)  If you meet me and I am not able to form real sentences and basically make no sense you will now know why! We also have a Great Dance named Ollie,  5 Chickens, and a horse named Dutchess.

When I am not at a session or chasing my kiddos around you will most likely find me in front of the TV watching some sort of TV series. I have a weakness for TV and can get lost in just about anything. My all time favorites though are Grey’s Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, Heartland, and Parenthood.

I started this whole photography journey about 8 years ago kind of on accident. I had graduated college more clueless than ever on what I wanted to do with my life. I had a passion for photography from an early age and always had a camera with me and was really into looking up different photography blogs. One day I stumbled upon Heidi Hope Photography, She was a newborn photographer and I was completely in awe of what she did. It just so happened that a family friend was having a baby a few months later and I was determined to photographer her baby and it all sort of spiraled from that.

My personality is very relaxed, I like to go with the flow. This is how I like to approach all of my sessions too. Firstly, because no session ever has gone completely to plan and secondly, I think going into it with an open mind helps be create portraits specifically for you and your unique family!

I hope this gave you a little  peek into who I am and if you want to learn more the best place to do that is over on my Instagram- TayonnaGuinnipImages
